* -- This title is available on CD
# -- A best-of collection
& -- A reissue or re-release.
d -- demo
I -- Instrumental album
C -- Christmas album
E -- This album
has at least one of the following offensive (to some people)
curse words or variations of a
curse word in the
lyrics of one or more
songs on the album: a**, d**n,
b***h.
Albums with the s*** or f*** word
in the lyrics of a song are not
listed (when I discover it), and
in most cases, the band/artist is not
included at all in these discography
listings.
K -- Children's album
L -- Live Album
Country Abbreviations (hopefully most are self-explanitory)
<AUS> = Australia
<BRA> = Brazil
<CAN> = Canada
<SWE> = Sweden
<GBR> = Great Britain/United Kingdom
<GER> = Germany
<SIN> = Singapore
<CZK> = Czech Republic
<NLD> = The Netherlands
etc.
Listing Format
-- All band names that include the full name of the band leader
will
be listed
under the leader's last name (ex: "Joe English
Band" is listed under
"English, Joe" and "Andre Crouch & The Disciples"
is listed under
"Crouch, Andre").
-- 2 artists recording together on an album will be given a
separate
listing. For
example, How The West Was One concert
featuring
2nd Chapter Of Acts and Phil
Keaggy will not be listed in both Phil Keaggy's and
2nd Chapter of Acts'
individual discographies, but rather in a separate
discography of 2nd Chapter
and Phil Keaggy. This listing will appear below
the discography of the 1st
artist who is listed on the actual album. In
the case of the above example,
How The West Was One is listed under 2nd
Chapter
Of Acts / Phil Keaggy, instead
of Phil Keaggy / 2nd Chapter Of Acts.
-- All special limited edition releases that were not available
to the general
public, but rather only to a select group of people
via a fan club, concert
distribution only, etc., will be listed on the
"Collectors"
page, not in the
artist's main discography.
-- Reissues and releases will be listed immediately after the
original release.
In
situations where more than one album is reissued
on the same
CS, CD, or CD set,
then the reissue will be listed after the
earliest album being
reissued.
Take
note that this therefore means that just because
an original
LP or CS only
release doesn't have a CD reissue listed below
it, this may not be
the case if
it's on the tail end of a multi-album CD
reissue. There may be
a few exceptions
to this rule (ex. - I'd rather list the reissue
of Swirling Eddies' Swirling
Mellow / Meat The Farm Beetles
releases in the main Swirling
Eddies discography
on "S" page instead of the "Collectors" page,
which I should technically
do
since Swirling Mellow, a fan club
release on the "Collector's page", was
released before Meat The Farm
Beetles.)
